An introduction

Hello, my name is Flick. Well that is what I’m named by my staff. My true name is unpronounceable to you, but loosely translates to ‘Goddess, queen, dancer of the night, swift of paw, fearless warrior, keeper of all things magical.’ It does not do me justice.

Well, this is my blog. I am a young female black with white patches cat. Obviously I am not typing this as no one has developed a feline keyboard as yet, so I must impose on my foster carers, Janet and Jeff to type exactly what I tell them or feel the stroke my claw. I will remain with them until my kittens are 8 weeks old then, who knows what will become of me. The aim of this blog is to give my thoughts and experiences while I give birth and wean my kittens. I hope I can warn other female cats to be careful around Toms and not make the same mistake as I. I also hope to give a frank and honest account of what it is like to give birth to kittens so that a wider audience can share with me this wonderful experience.

I arrived today despite Jeff’s driving; I felt quite nauseous and was greatly relieved once it was over. I will explore and look around my new surroundings and report as I find. I shall rest now as I am tired from my ordeal. I hope to update this blog via my servants on a daily basis, so for now I bid you good day.

Yours purringly,
Flick
